Muzaffar Shah acquitted

The Accountability Court-I Judge Syed Aale Maqbool Rizvi on Monday acquitted former Sindh chief minister and PA Speaker Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah in a reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for his alleged involvement in the illegal allotment of Karachi Port Trust (KPT) land case.
According to reference, the accused along with Rasool Bux Rahoo and others were charged with allotting KPT land measuring 75 acres at Mai Kolachi Road, Karachi, at throwaway prices, causing huge loss to national exchequer. The case was transferred to NAB from Anti-Corruption Court.
