Chicago Board of Trade corn futures fell from 9 to 14 cents per bushel early on Friday on aggressive buying of December puts in the corn options pit, traders said. The new-crop December contract had swung in a wide 23 cents per bushel trading range by the end of the initial 30 minutes of trading.
At 10:08 am CDT (1508 GMT), CBOT corn was 8 to 11-1/4 cents per bushel lower, with December down 7 at $3.51-1/4 per bushel.
