Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi speaking in a public meeting on the inauguration of new 'Bakar Mandi' and Slaughter House at Shah Pur Kangran in Lahore on Sunday has unveiled a package of Rs 1.50 billion for the development of the city.
He said the Punjab government had done unprecedented development during its tenure and this would be forte of it in the coming elections. The chief minister said that provincial government's education and health sector reformation programme had even been appreciated by the international institutions.
He said the provincial government had made special efforts for improvement in sewerage and supply of water programme in the city. Elahi said this programme was being carried out at provincial level.
