Lawyers body to submit reference against LHC Chief Justice

A seven-member committee headed by Vice-Chairman Punjab Bar Council (PBC) Tariq Javed has said that PBC has constituted a committee to prepare and submit a reference against Chief Justice Lahore High Court before Supreme Judicial Council within two weeks.
While addressing a press conference he accused Chief Justice LHC of corruption, victimisation, discrimination against judges and interference in the affairs of bar. He said on June 23, bar members would see off Chief Justice of Pakistan for Multan from Punjab University Campus Bridge at 6 am. He said Chief Justice would stay first at Phoolnagar where district Nazim brother and member PBC Rana Asif would welcome him.
