Three members of a family died while two sustained serious injuries in an accident near here on Tuesday. Mian Iqbal, along with his family, was returning to Burewala from Machiwal Town in a carry motor. About 15 miles away from Burewala, a speedy bus rammed into the carry motor after colliding with a trailer coming from opposite direction.
As a result Mian Iqbal, his wife Shamim Akhtar and 14-year-old daughter died on the spot, while his 22-year-old son Junaid and 15-year-old daughter Bushra received serious injuries. The injured were rushed to the Burewala District Hospital from where they were shifted to Lahore.
