LAHORE: Provincial Ombudsman Punjab Najam Saeed called on Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana and presented Annual Report 2016 during a meeting at the Governor's House here on Tuesday.
The ombudsman apprised the governor that the ombudsman office received 24,637 complaints against different provincial departments during the year 2016 out of which 21,530 were decided promptly while 1,918 were pending case.
Najam Saeed said police, district governments, Board of Revenue (BoR), higher education, school education, health and local government departments were on the top as far as the complaints were concerened.
Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana expressed satisfaction over the performance of the Punjab Ombudsman office.
