The ceremony which, eventually turned into a large public meeting was attended by peoples of all communities living in Baldia Town.

During last 18 months City government has undertaken work of lying of water and sewerage lines in every area of the city with a cost of Rs 17 billion while in total over Rs 350 billion projects were at present going on in the city, which will bring a positive and refreshing change for everyone.
"All these works were not for election or votes but our aim was to serve the problems of people living in Karachi without any discrimination. Instead of a bureaucratic approach we have preferred serving to each and every person living in Karachi.
Work on a separate water line for Baldia Town with a cost of Rs 620 million is being carried out rapidly and this whole work will be completed by September after which not only every home in Baldia Town will get potable water while at the same time shortage problem in Site and Orangi Town will also resolved after completion of Rs 2 billion project," he added.
