A young journalist was shot dead in Pir Jo Goth near here, on Sunday. Nisar Ahmed Solangi, the reporter of Sindhi newspaper Daily Khabroon, aged 30, came to Pir Jo Goth from his village Machhyoon for some work when two armed persons on a motorcycle opened fire, killing him on the spot.
The body was brought to Taluka Hospital Kingri for autopsy after which it was handed over to the heirs.
