Justice Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi of the Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the Chief Secretary Punjab to seek explanation of Secretary Health for his failure to comply with the court orders and submit his report to the court by June 22.
The court passed these orders in a petition filed by Nasar Iqbal who approached the court against District Health Officer Gujrat for issuing fake medical report. The court during the course of last hearing had directed the respondent Secretary Health to arrange re-examination of respondent Bashiran Bibi but neither respondent secretary submitted his report nor appeared before the court. The court observed that respondent secretary by his conduct has hampered proceedings of this court and directed Chief Secretary to get explanation from him.
According to the details, the petitioner and the respondent Bashiran Bibi had some political rivalry as a result of which respondent managed a fake medical report to get involved the petitioner in fake case.
