The Federal government is spending Rs 350 million on setting up of "Cast Metal Technology Testing and Training Centre" in mini-industrial estate in Daska district.
The official sources told Business Recorder here on Saturday that the centre would cater to the needs of advanced foundry, casting, forging and metal testing requirements of industries of Sialkot, Daska, Gujranwala, Wazirabad and Gujrat areas.
Besides, the well-equipped centre would provide training in various advanced skills to the artisans of these areas. The Cast Metal Technology Testing and Training Centre would be accomplished in one-year stipulated period and would provide necessary advanced forging and testing facilities to the industrial sector, sources added.
