Bears remained in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in trend-setters under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 0.63 points as the index moved from 2,723.56 to 2,722.93 points.
The overall turnover stood at 2,656,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 6,765,100 shares. Total 139 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in negative territory, 52 closed in positive zone, whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous levels.
The volume of DG Khan Cement was 1,256,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 745,500 shares. The volume of Lucky Cement was 997,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 997,600 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 745,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 745,500 shares.
