RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48539.98 with a positive change of 130.63 and volume of 23,205,190 shares.

High and Low were 48757.38 and 48409.35 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 67,045,660 shares with 308 total traded companies out of which 180 were up, 119 were down and 9 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,476,400 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 11,870,200 shares.

The three top traded companies were Aisha Steel Mill with a volume of 5,408,500 and price per share of 23.10 (0.79), JS Bank Ltd with a volume 5,214,500 of price per share of 10.64 (0.52), B.O.Punjab with a volume 5,092,500 of price per share of 16.18 (0.07).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak LtdXD with price per share 2726.97 (129.85), Hinopak Motor with price per share of 1673.00 (73.80) and Unilever Foods share of 6100.00 (32.50).

The top three decliners were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2240.00 (117.03), Ismail Ind with price per share of 355.00 (15.00) and Premier Suger per share of 154.48 (8.13).
