KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 47869.64 with a negative change of 436.19 and volume of 44,557,510 shares.

High and Low were 48341.17 and 47774.44 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 81,025,270 shares with 312 total traded companies out of which 66 were up, 233 were down and 13 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 14,409,200 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 12,155,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab.. with a volume of 7,823,500 and price per share of 15.45 (0.74), Mughal Iron&Ste. with a volume 2,638,500 of price per share of 147.90 (4.63), Lotte Chemical. with a volume 2,212,000 of price per share of 10.65 (0.17).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 2488.89 (99.89), Shield Corp. with price per share of 546.00 (11.00) and Otsuka Pak share of 237.80 (10.69).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4090.00 (215.00), Colgate Palmolive.. with price per share of 2109.00 (111.00) and Philip Morris Pak. per share of 2150.00 (109.69).
