The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Pakistan has suspended operations of Aero Asia International Airlines due to issues related to safety of operations and passenger convenience, said a CAA press release here Wednesday. These problems were highlighted to the management of Aero Asia times and again but the situation, instead of improving, got from bad to worse.
The airline's failure to comply with safety and regularity requirements of CAA has led to this action by CAA Pakistan. Aero Asia may start operations as and when they so desire, provided they satisfy CAA on all safety issues in addition to exercising better operational control over their aircraft. CAA has no issue with Aero Asia as far as payment of its current dues is concerned.
