KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49905.12 with a positive change of 45.73 and volume of 79,829,990 shares.

High and Low were 50034.94 and 49801.12respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 274,257,930 shares with 360 total traded companies out of which 233 were up, 118 were down and 9 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 39,136,900 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 36,698,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Power Cement Ltd. with a volume of 27,623,000 and price per share of 17.24 (0.67), Lotte Chemical with a volume 26,887,000 of price per share of 11.14 (0.04), B.O.Punjab with a volume 23,352,000 of price per share of 17.91 (0.83).

The top three advancers were Colgate Palmolive with price per share 1900.00 (30.00), Hinopak Motor with price per share of 1735.00 (28.33) and Jubile Life Ins share of 583.00 (18.93).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4350.00 (221.00), Pak Tobacco with price per share of 1160.00 (40.00) and Indus Dyeing per share of 541.50 (28.50).
