KARACHI: On Monday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49790.41 with a negative change of 173.36 and volume of 95,165,510 shares.

High and Low were 50339.93 and 49593.79 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 193,912,040 shares with 360 total traded companies out of which 136 were up, 214 were down and 10 were unchanged.

POWER GENERATION & DISTRIBUTION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,223,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 25,862,500 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 8,155,000 and price per share of 13.75 (0.24), Lotte Chemical with a volume 7,537,000 of price per share of 9.22 (0.46), Japan Power with a volume 4,888,500 of price per share of 7.75 (0.01).

The top three advancers were Unilever Foodswith price per share 6100.00 (200.00), Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1795.50 (85.50) and Hinopak Motor share of 1865.00 ( 64.75).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4282.00 (207.08), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2487.25 (112.75) and ICI Pakistan per share of 1092.55 (57.50).
