RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46867.82 with a negative change of 125.49 and volume of 91,448,320 shares.

High and Low were 47202.02 and 46867.82 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 167,756,770 shares with 332 total traded companies out of which 147 were up, 171 were down and 14 were unchanged.

TRANSPORT was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 37,286,000 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 25,442,000 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 13,142,500 and price per share of 11.03 (0.26), Engro Polymer with a volume 11,505,500 of price per share of 17.41 (0.20), Sui North Gas with a volume 4,521,000 of price per share of 76.20 (1.64).

The top three advancers were Siemens Pak. with price per share 1540.00 (41.08), Millat Tractors with price per share of 914.00 (24.30) and The Searle Co. share of 638.99 (20.71).

The top three decliners were Bata (Pak) with price per share of 4555.00 (75.00), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4700.00 (31.17) and Mari Petroleum per share of 1382.00 (15.80).
