RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Wednesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 47140.77 with a negative change of 69.29 and volume of 63,511,260 shares.

High and Low were 47325.91 and 47041.41 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 141,985,950 shares with 339 total traded companies out of which 125 were up, 201 were down and 13 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 24,167,800 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 20,598,600 shares.

The three top traded companies were Byco Petroleum with a volume of 6,081,500 and price per share of 23.95 (0.20), Pak Refinery with a volume 5,378,500 of price per share of 46.15 (1.70), P.I.A.C.(A) with a volume 3,044,500 of price per share of 9.30 (0.04).

The top three advancers were Nestle Pakistan with price per share 9000.00 (390.00), Unilever Foods with price per share of 5700.00 (100.00) and Siemens Pak.share of 1472.11 (29.37).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4725.00 (65.25), Archroma PakXD with price per share of 780.00 (36.81) and Pak Tobacco per share of 1065.05 (25.96).
