RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 46914.11 with a negative change of 24.48 and volume of 92,000,620 shares.

High and Low were 47062.36 and 46810.02 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 218,549,760 shares with 359 total traded companies out of which 160 were up, 189 were down and 10 were unchanged.

ENGINEERING was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 47,067,200 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 38,660,100 shares.

The three top traded companies were Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume of 32,983,500 and price per share of 10.88 (0.23), B.O.Punjab with a volume 15,129,500 of price per share of 18.35 (0.07), Engro Polymer with a volume 12,001,500 of price per share of 17.45 (0.81).

The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share 4800.00 (146.69), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2488.00 (67.39) and Siemens Pak. share of 1425.00 (38.43).

The top three decliners were Khyber Tobacco with price per share of 1068.75 (56.25), J.D.W.Sugar with price per share of 531.91 (27.99) and Service Ind.Ltd per share of 1470.00 (19.84).
