Sharif family's lawyers to present more evidence if needed: Zubair

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Privatization Muhammad Zubair Friday said lawyers of Sharif family had more documented evidence in the Panama Papers case and they would present the same in the Supreme Court (SC), if required.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said the name of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not mentioned in the Panama Papers. It was evident from the fact that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyers had not provided any documented evidence before the court to substantiate their allegations, he added.

The minister said it would be better that the Panama Papers case was decided by the SC bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali.
