KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Thursday said that the provincial government would make an appeal to the Supreme Court against the judgment of Sindh High Court (SHC) over executive powers of the provincial advisors.
He was talking to media persons during his visit to the residence of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) worker late Umer Jat to offer fateha with his family members at Lath Basti.
Murad said, "We are going to the Supreme Court against the judgment of Sindh High Court over the executive powers of provincial advisors and whatever the decision made in this regard will be obeyed."
He said that the contract to lift litter and garbage from the city had been given to a Chinese company in better interest of the city.
Replying to a question, he said that reservations over the new bill regarding conversion to religion would be removed.
The Chief Minister said that issues pertaining to jurisdiction and funds would be resolved soon and development works would be done in Malir area too like other parts of the province.
