Boxer Amir Khans wife Faryal Makhdoom has posted a series of outrageous Snapchat messages that appear to accuse his family of abusing and bullying her. She insisted that the boxing champion is standing by her and that she represents the voice of every abused woman.
She wrote, "When you force [Amir] to divorce his wife, when shes 9 months pregnant!!! And [he] doesnt and he sticks besides his wife. Hes called a pussy!??? Ok, Im guessing Islam teaches us to get married and divorce our wives and treat them bad???".
"Dont get [them] married if youre going to abuse and bully the wife. Ive always been so quiet but seriously this message is for everyone. My husband has done farrrrr more than any son has done. And far more than any brother has done. But why is he treated so bad? Jealousy? Thats disgusting," she added.
In the posts, she seems to suggest that her sister-in-law hit her while her husband was away from home and that his parents, Falek and Shah, had tried to break them up.
However, Mariyah (Amirs sister), who according to social media is a university student, responded to the allegations by saying, "Do I look like I can beat someone up?". She also wrote that she didnt need to justify herself on social media as Allah is watching.
