After imposing ban on Pakistani talent working in Bollywood film industry, team Raees came out in support of Pakistani actress and said that Mahira Khan will surely be invited to promote the film in India (if required).
Speaking about the same, producer Ritesh Sidhwani said, I think when we start promotions and if we find it necessary to involve her, we will bring her here. I dont think there will be any restriction for her from the government or issuing visa to her will be a problem. We will decide about her involvement, Indian Express reported.
SRK also agreed with Ritesh on Mahiras case and chose not to comment anything further. When asked about his experience of working with Mahira, SRK termed it as very good.
Mahira Khan has been given enough screen time in the official trailer of Raees released yesterday. It seems to have also bagged an equally fair role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film.
The much-anticipated movie will hit screens on January 25, 2017.
