Gen. Raheel kick starts farewell visits

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Monday kick started his farewell visits beginning from Lahore Garrison, Director General Inter Services Public Relations Lt. Gen. Asim Saleem Bajwa said.

In a Tweet message he said "COAS kicks off his farewell visits beginning from Lahore today (Monday)."

The COAS met and addressed huge gathering of soldiers of Army and Rangers at Lahore Garrison.

General Raheel addressing troops said that accomplishment of peace and stability was not an ordinary task.

"Our sacrifices and joint national resolve helped us in off setting all odds against country", he added.
