RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 42413.70 with a negative change of 112.23 and volume of 66,912,640 shares.

High and Low were 42641.53 and 42386.83 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 206,628,070 shares with 331 total traded companies out of which 148 were up, 165 were down and 18 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 40,342,100 shares. It was followed by TRANSPORT with a total traded volume of 26,514,900 shares.

The three top traded companies were B.O.Punjab with a volume of 15,620,000 and price per share of 20.00 (0.19), Pak Int.Bulk with a volume 12,389,000 of price per share of 33.10 (0.71), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 10,207,000 of price per share of 24.49 (0.04).

The top three advancers were Exide (PAK) with price per share 930.00 (27.85), Indus DyeingXD with price per share of 517.65 (24.65) and Shezan Inter.XD share of 473.55 (22.55).

The top three decliners were Abbott Lab. with price per share of 860.55 (36.80), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 3672.00 (22.28) and AL-Ghazi TractorsXD per share of 589.99 (21.33).
