zimHARARE: New Zealand won the toss and sent Zimbabwe in to bat in the second one-day international at Harare Sports Club on Saturday.

Zimbabwe made two changes following their defeat by nine wickets in the first match of the three-game series at the same venue on Thursday with batsman Malcolm Waller and all-rounder Keegan Meth replacing Chamu Chibhabha and Kyle Jarvis.

New Zealand made three changes. Jacob Oram was back after missing the first match because of illness and BJ Watling and debutant Graeme Aldridge came in for Jesse Ryder, Nathan McCullum and Kyle Mills.

New Zealand picked five seam bowlers to operate on a pitch which gave the bowlers early help in the first match.

Teams:

Zimbabwe: Brendan Taylor (capt), Vusi Sibanda, Hamilton Masakadza, Tatenda Taibu, Forster Mutizwa, Malcolm Waller, Elton Chigumbura, Keegan Meth, Prosper Utseya, Raymond Price, Chris Mpofu.

New Zealand: Ross Taylor (capt), Brendon McCullum, Martin Guptill, Rob Nichol, Kane Williamson, BJ Watling, James Franklin, Jacob Oram, Doug Bracewell, Graeme Aldridge, Andy McKay.
