The South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has been having an international exploding spree these days after its mobile phones were reported to have exploded causing injuries to its users.
Now, it is learnt that a Pakistani has also fallen victim to one of these hazardous cellular phone. Aftab Afridi, a software engineer from Islamabad, said he put his Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on charge before he went to sleep.
However, unlike waking with an alarm, the Note jerked him awake with a loud blast, said Afridi on social media. “I put my mobile on charging before i went to sleep in the morning i heard blast near my ears,” he tweeted.
Afridi quickly unplugged the charger from the electric board and threw his mobile away from the mattress, burning his fingers in the process, he claimed.

Aftab further said that he tried to contact Samsung but got no response, and therefore vented his frustration out on Twitter against the company, as a last resort.
