Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) planned a comprehensive program to eradicate the problems of overloading and for the upgrading of electricity distribution system.
Under this program, changing of old and bad conductors, extension of grid stations' capacity and bifurcation of feeders in different areas of Lesco region and other construction work would be executed to facilitate the consumers.
Under this program, Lesco will spend Rs 12,33,83,478. Areas like Gogera, Okara, Pattoki, Kala Khatai Road, Sangla Hill, Manawala, Mominpura, Dharampura, Maskeenpura and Kasur, in grid stations Model Town, Rewaz Garden and Old Kot Lakhpat are included in this project.
The Lesco chief has directed for quick completion of this uplift project, which will ensure uninterrupted power supply to the said areas.
