ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Farooq H Naik and Deputy Chairman Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali Tuesday expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Hameed Akhter, a senior journalist and columnist.
In their separate condolence messages, Farooq Naik and Jan Jamali prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to bereaved family to bear the loss.
They also eulogized the journalistic services of deceased and said his services would be remembered for long.
Leader of the House in Senate Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and Opposition Leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri were also expressed sorrow over the sad demise of Senior Journalist Hameed Akhtar and prayed for the rest of departed soul and grant courage to bereaved family.
