ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Rehman Malik said on Monday that Karachi is financial capital of the country and the federal government along with the provincial government has taken effective steps to improve its law and order situation.
This he said while talking to Shahi Syed,Provincial president of Awami National Party (ANP) who called on him in his office here.
Both the leaders discussed Karachi law and order situation and decided that said that indiscriminate action will be taken against miscreants.
Rehman Malik said that all the target killers arrested from Karachi would be brought to book.He also said that on the directives of the President and Prime Minister action is being taken against land mafia.He said all political parties should help the government in restoration of peace in the City of the Quaid.
Speaking on the occasion Shahi Syed said target killers arrested from Karachi should be brought before media.He assured full cooperation to the government for maintenance of peace in Karachi.
He thanked the minister for his efforts for improvement of law and order situation in Karachi.
