Dengue claims five more lives

dengue_400LAHORE: Another five people including four women died of dengue fever in various city hospitals on Monday, raising the death toll to 235.

Anwer Bibi ,60, of Mughalpura, Mussarat Bano ,53, and Amna Javed ,26, of Krishan Nagar died at the Mayo Hospital.

Khalida Bibi ,50, lost her life against dengue fever in Services Hospital while the fifth patient whose identity is yet to be identified expired in a private hospital.

According to the health department the total dengue cases have been raised upto 16,928 including 450 new reported cases while 1,206 patients are under treatment in various hospitals.
