The Sindh education department and Literacy on Tuesday declared that Wednesday and Thursday ie August 17 and 18, and Wednesday and Thursday ie August 24 and 25 as holidays due to Local Government elections.
Accordingly, all the educational institutions in public and private sector will remain closed on these days in the districts where the LG polls are being held in the first phase (on 18-08-2005) and in second phase (on 25-08-2005), respectively.
