Kerry calls on Hafeez

ISLAMABAD: US Senator John Kerry called on Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs and Planning and Development Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh here on Wednesday and discussed the economic relations between the two friendly countries.

The Finance Minister briefed Senator Kerry about the economic reforms initiated by the government for economic stability, growth and socio-economic development of the country.

The US Senator appreciated the economic policies of the government and assured that his country would support Pakistan for the welfare of its people.
