Equities failed to recover at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears commanded the proceedings amid decrease in index. ISE Network Index showed a decrease of 26.39 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 111,88.56 to 112,14.95 points. The overall turnover amounted to 15,52,200 shares as compared to the previous volume of 12,85,600 shares.
Total 100 companies participated in buying and selling activity. A total of 68 losers outnumbered 32 gainers whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 10,67,000 shares as compared to the previous volume of 436,100 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 365,200 shares as compared to the previous turnover of 626,800 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 57,600 shares.
