Singapore bunker prices were stable on Friday, riding on higher fuel oil cargo values and strengthening the bunker/cargo premium, dealers said. Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $256-$258 a tonne, unchanged from Thursday, with the bunker premium at $6-$7 a tonne, $1 lower than the previous trading day. "Most players were offering at around $257-$258 a tonne but with not much demand seen. Some independents are showing aggressive levels at around $253-$254 but they are the minority," a Singapore-based supplier said. "Yesterday's spike in premium levels proved to be a flash in the pan as it largely due to players reacting to a cargo deal done at a high level."
