KARACHI: Gold trimmed by Rs214 to Rs47,400 per 10 grams in the local market on Tuesday, as its international price slipped to $1,663 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association officials, tola (11.664 grams) price also decreased by Rs250 to Rs55,300.

Silver closed lower at Rs925.71 per 10 grams.
