HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks surged 3.26 percent by the break on Tuesday, following a rally on Wall Street and in Europe on hopes of a plan to resolve the eurozone crisis.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index jumped 576.88 points to 18,287.94 on turnover of HK43.60 billion ($5.60 billion).
