ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday urged the nation to follow the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and spread the message of peace, love and compassion.
The President greeted the nation, particularly the Muslims, on the auspicious occasion, birthday of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) and said his life and teachings are a source of blessing for the entire humanity.
"The need for imbibing the true message of tolerance and understanding preached and practiced by the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has never been as great as it is today," the President said.
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was sent by Allah for the entire mankind and homage is paid to him everywhere and at all times, Zardari added.
"I also pray to Allah Almighty to guide us on the path as illumined by the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him)."
