Industrial bodies grieved over Karachi bomb blast

Different industrial associations have expressed their sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in a bomb blast in a mosque in Karachi on Friday.
In a joint statement issued here on Saturday, Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (Piaf) Chairman Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Vice-Chairman Majid Abdullah, LCCI Executive Member Mubashar Sheikh and former Chairman Lahore Township Industries Association (Ltia) Mian Abuzar Shad said that reaction shown by the public on loss of lives was natural.
They expressed their sympathies with the bereaved families but said that by taking law in hands, we would gain nothing but to strengthen the evil designs of our enemy.
They called upon the religious and political leaders to forge unity in their ranks to foil the nefarious designs of the enemy. They also urged the government to devise a comprehensive strategy to maintain law and order in Karachi.
