farmersLAHORE: The Punjab Agriculture Extension Department on Thursday informed growers that most suitable time for gram sowing in north districts of Punjab was till October 15.

It further advised growers to use certified varieties of seed for sowing.

Good seed varieties include Kabli Chana CM 2008, Noor 2009, Noor 91, Batal 98, Punjab 2008, Thal 2006, Balksar 2000, Vanihar 2000, CM 98, Thal 2011.
