KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Health, Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar said that Rehabilitation centers had been established across province to cope with situation might arise due to heatstroke.
He said this in reply to call attention notice given by MQM female member Naila Muneer during Sindh Assembly session held at Assembly Building on Monday.
Such arrangements had been made after a forecasting made by the Meteorological Department about heatstroke in the province, he said.
As many as 171 centers in only Karachi had been set up while the stalls of drinking water had been established at bus-stands, Railway stations and other areas, he added.
Besides, special directives had been issued to power utilities to reduce load-shedding, because last year more people died of load-shedding in the province, he claimed.
