British Council announces Chevening Scholarship 2011-12"

ISLAMABAD: British Council Pakistan has announced "The British Chevening Scholarship 2011-12" for Pakistani citizens.

The Scholarships are for one year post graduate studies in the United Kingdom told an official of British Council to APP here on Sunday.

He said these are fully funded scholarships that cover tuition fees for most courses i.e (12,000 pounds), a monthly stipend allowance and air travel.

He said applicants must be well versed with written and spoken english and should have a minimum of three-years' experience in the related subject to be eligible for the scholarship.

Dual nationals are not eligible for the" The Chevening Scholarship 2011-12", he added.

Last date for application forms is March 21.
