CHARSADDA: Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani on Thursday offered special prayers and Fateha for the eternal peace of departed souls of victims of Sindh floods and dengue virus.
The Prime Minister arrived on a short visit to Charsadda district for inauguration of the second phase of distribution of Watan Cards among last year's devastated flood victims in Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi, PPP Women Wing President KPK, Asma Alamgir, Managing Director Pakistan Baitul Mall Zamrud Khan and other senior officials.
The Prime Minister was received by Governor Khyber Pakthunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar, Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain, provincial ministers, senators, MNAs, MPAs and elites of the City. IGP KPK, Faiz Ahmed Toru and Chief Secretary Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar and other high ranking officials were also present.
