Quaid's 63th death anniversary observed
ISLAMABAD: The 63th death anniversary of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was observed on Sunday with a renewed pledge to follow his message of unity, faith and discipline and to make Pakistan a strong and prosperous country.
People from all walks of life, including government functionaries, political leaders and workers visited the Quaid's mausoleum in Karachi to lay wreaths and offer Fateha.
Quran Khawani was held in all major mosques of the country, including the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad for eternal peace to the soul of Quaid-i-Azam.
Various organizations arranged functions to highlight different aspects of the life of Quaid-i-Azam who led the Muslims of the Sub-continent in a long struggle to obtain a separate homeland.
