indISLAMABAD: Professor at Peshawar University, Dr Zahid Anwar Khan said that Prime Minister's visit to Kazakhstan would help to boost bilateral trade between Islamabad and Astana.

Talking to a private news channel on Thursday, he said Islamabad should take solid steps to increase trade and economic ties with the CARs, as the whole world is seeing towards natural resources of the region.

He said Pakistan and Kazakhstan can enhance bilateral relations in education, tourism, defense and other fields.

He said Kazakhstan can also help Pakistan in meeting its energy needs for industrial development.
