parco_gilaniISLAMABAD: Chairman Pak Arab Refinery Ltd (PARCO) Nawab Hassan Ali Khan called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House here on Tuesday and briefed him about various projects undertaken by the company.

The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts of the company by contributing valuable output in the energy demand of the country.

He urged more active role of the company and other energy related enterprises to invest in this sector of the country’s economy owing to its vast potential.

He assured the Chairman PARCO that government would take every step to facilitate the company’s operational activities to realize its existing potential.

The Chairman PARCO apprised the Prime Minister that the company is a fully integrated energy enterprise and one of the largest companies in the Pakistan's corporate sector.

He informed about the company’s proposed projects in energy sector with joint collaboration of Pakistan and Abu Dhabi that would be beneficial both in terms of meeting the energy demands of the country and generating employment opportunities.
