yuanSHANGHAI: China's central bank auctioned 1 billion yuan ($156 million) of one-year bills in its open market operations on Tuesday at a yield of 3.5840 percent, unchanged from last week as expected, the central bank said in a statement on its website.

A total of 27 billion yuan in central bank bills are due to mature this week. The People's Bank of China (PBOC) conducted a net injection of 16 billion yuan into the banking system last week.
