ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday Successfully conducted test fire of indigenously developed Cruise Missile Hatf-7 (Babur) having a range of 600 kms.
According to ISPR, Babur can carry payload of strategic and conventional warheads. Having stealth capabilities, and the terrain hugging, the missile can fly low.
The Cruise Missile has high maneuverability, pin point accuracy and radar avoidance features.
It also incorporates the most modern cruise missile technology of terrain counter matching and digital scene matching and areas correlation.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, officers and scientists witnessed the test.
The President Asif Ali Zardari and the Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani have congratulated the scientists and engineers for successful conduct of the test.
