DHAKA: Pakistan were 196 for two at tea on the opening day of the second and final Test against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium on Wednesday.
Azhar Ali was unbeaten on 85 and Younis Khan was on 77, the pair having put on 138 runs for the third wicket.
The tourists lost Mohammad Hafeez (eight) and Sami Aslam (19) in the morning session to slide to 58-2 after Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field.
The first Test ended in a draw in Khulna last week.
