After Pakistan supermodel Ayyan Ali, another Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has been accused of money laundering. However, she denied all the alleged accusations put on her. A local Urdu news paper claimed that the Pakistani TV actress is under investigation for money laundering case but Saba Qamar refuses any smuggling case on her.
She said, “If I were involved in any such matter I would have been behind bars by now. All my bank accounts are clean. I was at home when I heard about it. When something like this comes in the news it destroys you mentally”, local media reported.
“I have previously chosen to ignore such propaganda against me and will do so again. I have made a name for myself in this industry and country by hard work and will continue doing so”, the actress stated.
A local Urdu newspaper reported that Saba was allegedly involved in the smuggling of large sums of money for an official of the National Bank of Pakistan. It also insinuated that she was in a relationship with this bank official.
Previously, she came in lime light when the rumours about her marriage with Hamza Ali Abbasi started doing round. Now, the recent controversy made the Pakistani actress more furious. She said it’s such a shame that a TV anchor accused me and a few other actresses for money laundering, without providing any proper evidence.
